Elizabeth Ferguson wasn’t seeking attention, but after the brutal, unprovoked attack [link removed] she suffered on September 12, she’s decided to share her story publicly—now. Her courage highlights a disturbing truth in Dallas: violent crime is rampant, and

Elizabeth was just grabbing lunch from her office at the George Allen Courts Building. But a few blocks away, her life took a terrifying turn.
