DOJ said in a press release that Syed Aman, a U.S. citizen and resident of
Nassau County, New York, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with attempting to
provide material support to ISIS. Aman was arrested at John F. Kennedy
International Airport in Queens, New York, as he attempted to board a flight to
Doha, Qatar. The DOJ said Aman planned to leave for Syria from Qatar to join
ISIS. "As alleged, Aman was steadfast in his attempts to travel to the Middle
East to join ISIS and fortunately his evil plan to wage jihad was thwarted,"
U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said.”

“Israel’s parliament passed a law early Thursday that would allow it to
deport family members of Palestinian attackers, including the country’s own
citizens, to the war-ravaged Gaza Strip or other locations. The law, which was
championed by members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party and
his far-right allies, passed with a 61-41 vote. But legal experts said that any
attempt to implement it would likely lead to it being struck down by Israeli
courts. It would apply to Palestinian citizens of Israel and residents of
annexed east Jerusalem who knew about their family members’ attacks beforehand
or who “express support or identification with the act of terrorism. They would
be deported, either to the Gaza Strip or another location, for a period of
seven to 20 years.”

Israeli strike on an apartment building in the town of Barja, Lebanon’s Civil
Defense service said Wednesday as the Mideast wars press on with no signs of

trapped under the debris following the Tuesday night airstrike, which came
without warning. There was no statement from the Israeli military and the
strike’s intended target also was unknown. Barja, a town just north of the port
city of Sidon in central Lebanon, has not been regularly targeted so far in the
conflict. “Something pulled me hard, and then the explosion happened,” said
Moussa Zahran, who was at home with his wife and son when the building was hit.”

Reuters: Israel Signs $5.2 Billion Deal To Acquire 25 F-15 Fighter Jets From

acquire 25 next generation F-15 fighter jets from Boeing Co (BA.N), opens new
tab. It said the $5.2 billion agreement was part of a broader package of U.S.
aid approved by the U.S. administration and Congress earlier this year and
included an option for 25 additional aircraft. Delivery of the new F-15IA
aircraft will begin in 2031, with 4-6 aircraft to be supplied annually, it
said. The aircraft will be equipped with weapons systems integrated with
existing Israeli weapons as well as having increased range and payloads. "These
advantages will enable the Israeli Air Force to maintain its strategic
superiority in addressing current and future challenges in the Middle East,"

were allegedly planning to attack parts of the state. According to the
statement, the security operatives, comprising the Nigerian Army, Police, and
personnel of the State Security Services, also recovered a cache of arms and
ammunition from the gunmen. “Some of the gunmen fled into the bush with gunshot
injuries,” the statement indicated.”

out three party members who were arrested on suspicion of having joined an
extremist paramilitary group. Police on Tuesday arrested eight suspected
members of the "Saxonian Separatists" militant group accused of training in
anticipation of the collapse of state order. Three of them were members of the
AfD, an anti-immigration party especially strong in the ex-communist east of
Germany. AfD co-leaders Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla said an extraordinary
meeting of the party leadership would be held on Wednesday with the sole
purpose of excluding the three men.”
