Mayor Bass Supports Governor Newsom’s Historic Proposal to Expand the Film & TV Tax Credit Program
California’s Film & Television Tax Credit Program, which was originally created when Mayor Bass served as Speaker of the California State Assembly, has generated tens of billions of dollars in investments while creating nearly 200,000 jobs. The proposal would expand the program to $750 million annually, a massive increase from the current $330 million annual allocation. Mayor Bass signs Executive Directive to Repair Streets, Clean Parks and Enhance Infrastructure Projects and City Services Ahead of Major, Upcoming World Events

More RVS Addressed and Unhoused Angelenos Brought Inside In the San Fernando Valley
Mayor Karen Bass announced an Inside Safe ([link removed]) operation in Pacoima in partnership with Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez. The operation brought more than 15 unhoused Angelenos inside and removed recreational vehicles (RVs) from an encampment near local businesses and trucking centers. “We know that ending homelessness in Los Angeles requires urgency and commitment from many partners,” said Mayor Karen Bass.
