With an election to win, friends, we don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves.
However, one thing is clear: If Democrats under the leadership of Hakeem Jeffries win back the House on November 5 , there will be a lot of work to do cleaning up the MAGA mess left behind.
A lot of work.
Rep. Yvette D. Clarke's role in the next Congress will be critical to the success of the new Democratic House majority and hardworking American families.
Yvette has been a powerful, frontline advocate on healthcare in Congress.
From supporting Medicare for All to leading on maternal Black health and addressing the inequalities facing underserved communities, Yvette has dedicated her work to making healthcare affordable and accessible.
She profoundly understands that healthcare is a human right , yet we are still far from where we must be.
Rep. Clarke is a tireless advocate for women's health by highlighting, through her position as co-chair of the Congressional Black Women and Girls Caucus, the significant obstacles Black women face when accessing healthcare, specifically reproductive care.
That's the leadership, the driving commitment, and the willingness to put people first that are needed in Congress.
Please pitch in today to help send Yvette back to Congress to continue working for all of us. [[link removed]]
