Hold Big Oil and Gas accountable.

Stop Big Oil's Radioactive Roadspreading

Hi John,

Who in their right mind at the Big Oil and Gas companies thought it was ok to spread toxic radioactive drilling waste containing radium and strontium on the dirt roads we use every single day?

You already know that Big Oil and Gas is willing to sink a well and run a pipeline just about anywhere and anytime but this is a new low - even for them.

Siri Lawson, a Farmington Township, PA resident had no idea that contractors in Pennsylvania were collecting dangerous radioactive brine and spreading it on roads in her hometown until she got sick.

Radioactive brine soaks into creeks and rivers that supply drinking water. Fumes get in the air. It poisons adults and kids alike.

Fed up with a broken system of loopholes that won’t hold Big Oil and Gas accountable, Siri reached out to Charlie at Earthworks to help.

Charlie and our Earthworks team got to work and helped get a bill that would close roadspreading loopholes out of committee in Pennsylvania. The fight continues. We can’t stop here as we get more and more people like Siri across the US who desperately need our help.

Join us and help Earthworks, Charlie and locals like Siri fight to stop Big Oil and Gas from spraying radioactive waste on America’s roads and poisoning our families.

Join the Fight Now

Radioactive brine is not only getting into our rivers that supply drinking water. It ends up in the air we breathe. It poisons wildlife, birds and plants.

Help us stop Big Oil and Gas and companies from spreading toxic radioactive waste across the US.

In solidarity,

Jennifer Krill
Executive Director

P.S. “Residents are literally inhaling oil and gas wastewater 24-hours per day,” Siri Lawson told Pennsylvania legislators this year. Since drilling began near her home, Lawson has experienced major respiratory and kidney problems. Children breathe the same air. Help stop spreading Big Oil’s radioactive waste.
