Siri Lawson, a Farmington Township, PA resident had no idea that contractors in Pennsylvania were collecting dangerous radioactive brine and spreading it on roads in her hometown until she got sick. Radioactive brine soaks into creeks and rivers that supply drinking water. Fumes get in the air. It poisons adults and kids alike. Fed up with a broken system of loopholes that won’t hold Big Oil and Gas accountable, Siri reached out to Charlie at Earthworks to help. Charlie and our Earthworks team got to work and helped get a bill that would close roadspreading loopholes out of committee in Pennsylvania. The fight continues. We can’t stop here as we get more and more people like Siri across the US who desperately need our help. Join us and help Earthworks, Charlie and locals like Siri fight to stop Big Oil and Gas from spraying radioactive waste on America’s roads and poisoning our families.
