Dear MoveOn member,

So many people across the country have been asking how they can help in
these final days of what is now considered the closest presidential race
in modern history, and here's one very impactful way:^1

MoveOn is running powerful get-out-the-vote ads targeting 1.63 million new
voters and "surge voters" in battleground states and districts. Surge
voters are infrequent voters who are left-leaning, and they skew younger.
Voting is not a habit for these voters, meaning they risk not casting
their vote at all.

This election will come down to whether surge voters turn out.^2

Our ads, which are running on the streaming, online video, and social
media platforms where surge voters spend their time have tested EXTREMELY
well. For instance, as first reported yesterday by NBC News, MoveOn just
launched an ad inspired by the re-released brat album—the highest-rated
album of 2024—encouraging young infrequent voters to cast their vote by
November 5.^3,4

Testing found that, after seeing this ad, surge voters feel that their
vote has more power, are more likely to vote, and are more likely to vote
for Vice President Harris. For instance, the brat-inspired ad increases
the power voters feel their vote has by 8 percentage points, which is VERY
strong.

But Monday is the deadline to buy more ad space on Meta platforms (which
includes Facebook and Instagram), and we urgently want to expand our ad
buy to show the brat ad, as well as other high-performing get-out-the-vote
ads on abortion and birth control and Project 2025 to more surge voters in
key battleground states (specifically, Arizona, Nebraska's 2nd District,
North Carolina, and Wisconsin).

John, these ads are powerful, effective, and a critical way to
reach infrequent voters, who share our progressive values but risk not
casting their votes, in these final hours and days before polls close on
November 5. If we raise $100,000 before midnight on Sunday, we can reach
another 300,000-400,000 infrequent voters with our ads.

Will you start a weekly donation through Election Day to help show our ads
to more infrequent voters and help turn these voters out so that together
we can elect Vice President Harris, defeat Donald Trump, and deal a
massive blow to MAGA? Then, we must be prepared to immediately spring into
action after the election, no matter the outcome. Every dollar counts.

Want to support MoveOn? The MAGA right is declaring war, and Project 2025
is their battle plan. Project 2025 threatens our rights, attacks
communities of color, hurts middle- and working-class families, and
undermines our democracy. But we will not back down or let Trump steamroll
our nation.

Will you donate to power MoveOn's election plan, stop Trump, and ensure
Project 2025 is never enacted?
