Kristin is running for this open seat in Congress against Tony Wied, an extremist, anti-choice, MAGA Republican who has centered his entire platform on his endorsement from convicted felon Donald Trump.

As a practicing OB/GYN, Kristin understands the importance of comprehensive and affordable healthcare, especially in rural areas. She is committed to ensuring access for all Americans with a fierce defense of reproductive healthcare.

After Roe v. Wade was overturned, Wisconsin’s Republican legislators brought back a law from 1849 that was widely interpreted as an abortion ban. Thus, it became difficult and dangerous for her to do her job as an abortion provider and women’s health specialist safely.

She fought tirelessly to bring abortion care back to Wisconsin, so much so that her name is on the judgment in Dane County Circuit Court that restored abortion care to the state, a case that has been appealed and is making its way up to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

We have a real chance to win this district. Democrats have seen increased success over the years, with both Senator Tammy Baldwin and Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz having won around 48% of the vote in Kristin’s district. Abortion will be a huge motivator for voters this election season – especially in Wisconsin. We have an exciting opportunity to send Kristin to Congress, where she can speak about these issues as a true expert.
