When it comes to saving energy, it’s true that using LED light bulbs win hands down over the old-style, incandescent. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to find the old filament bulbs in any sort of local store, although you’d have better luck online. That said, the “light-emitting diode” (LEDs) with their blasts of blue light pose significant health risks, including disturbances in your circadian rhythm, sleep interference, and cancer.

National Produce Misting Day : ““Apeel” Fruit and Vegetable Protective Coating Is Not So Appealing When You Break It Down"

“Apeel” is a fruit and vegetable coating designed to extend the shelf life of a variety of fruit and vegetables. Questions were raised about the safety of the coating's material, which the narrative was changed on the company’s website from being unremovable to removable. World Smile Day : “Fluoride From Your Water, Food, and Toothpaste May Be Disrupting Your Inner Ecosystem”

Fluoride has long been touted as beneficial to fighting cavities, so much so that it’s added to the drinking water of many municipalities.
