As a former member of the Federal Election Commission, I can tell you that the law is clear. Federal law, specifically 52 U.S.C. § 30121, strictly prohibits any foreign national from making "a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value" in connection with any U.S. election. And yet, it seems the Harris campaign is willing to push the limits of legality, much like Bernie Sanders' campaign did in 2016. This kind of behavior threatens our representative Republic, and we cannot let it stand!
