Environmental
Justice
Act,
defining
environmental
justice
and
making
it
the
policy
of
the
Commonwealth

I
co-patroned
the
Virginia
Clean
Economy
Act,
legislation
that
will
position
VA
to
meet
an
affordable
and
reliable
zero-carbon
electricity
grid
by
2050
*
I
redirected
state
funds
to
low-income
property
owners
to
repair
aging
septic
systems
to
protect
us
all
from
public
health
disasters
*
I
required
the
State
Corporation
Commission
to
establish
energy
efficiency
savings
targets
for
Dominion
customers
who
are
low-income,
elderly,
disabled,
or
veterans
None of this would’ve been possible if Republicans controlled the State Senate here in Virginia, which is why I’m so proud to have won my seat in 2019.
Now, I know we can do more – so I’m running for Lieutenant Governor.
