In a different world, today would have been the date of the 2020 Women for a New Los Angeles Luncheon, and we would have gathered to share stories, uplift one another, and celebrate the centennial of the 19th Amendment, a turning point for women's rights in America.

Moving forward, Angelenos now have the right to take their landlords to court if they violate the city's eviction moratorium during the COVID-19 crisis.
