TDI adopts updated amusement ride insurance and inspection rules

The Texas Department of Insurance has adopted rule updates to 28 TAC §§5.9001 - 5.9004 and 5.9006 - 5.9014. The sections address insurance and inspection requirements for amusement rides in Texas. The amendments reflect changes made by HB 1553 [ [link removed] ] (88R, 2023).

Amendments revise the definition of "amusement ride" for consistency with the change in HB 1553 and make nonsubstantive changes.
