The Texas Department of Insurance has adopted rule updates to 28 TAC §§5.9001 - 5.9004 and 5.9006 - 5.9014. The sections address insurance and inspection requirements for amusement rides in Texas. The amendments reflect changes made by HB 1553 (88R, 2023).
Amendments revise the definition of "amusement ride" for consistency with the change in HB 1553 and make nonsubstantive changes.
