The CARES Act is a multi-trillion dollar relief package that Matt helped pass to bring much-needed relief during the COVID-19 crisis. Much of this money will be distributed to states and small businesses, but the oversight that was included in the bill has been systematically dismantled.

As taxpayers, this is our money and YOUR money, John. And not having appropriate oversight means this money (our money) is at HUGE risk of being used for fraudulent or incorrect purposes.
