I'm a Tennessee native, and I lived in Memphis for six years. It's a vibrant community, filled with character - and some of the world's best BBQ. And while we're known for our world-class music, thriving food scene and Southern hospitality, there's one thing I wish Tennessee could leave in the past: homophobia.
This time, a local shock jock decided to take to the airwaves and broadcast his bigoted rant against Victory Fund candidate Davin Clemons. Here are some of his more egregious quotes:

And Davin's not the only Victory Fund candidate to deal with homophobia on the campaign trail. It's all too common - in Tennessee, and across the country. Now, we've managed to get this rant taken down from YouTube , and we're working on reporting hate speech attaking our candidates on other social media platforms.
