I'm a Tennessee native, and I lived in Memphis for six years. It's a vibrant community, filled with character - and some of the world's best BBQ. And while we're known for our world-class music, thriving food scene and Southern hospitality, there's one thing I wish Tennessee could leave in the past: homophobia.

This time, a local shock jock decided to take to the airwaves and broadcast his bigoted rant against Victory Fund candidate Davin Clemons. Here are some of his more egregious quotes:

And Davin's not the only Victory Fund candidate to deal with homophobia on the campaign trail. It's all too common - in Tennessee, and across the country. Now, we've managed to get this rant taken down from YouTube, and we're working on reporting hate speech attaking our candidates on other social media platforms. In the meantime, will you donate $25 or more to make sure our LGBTQ candidates can fight bigots like this all the way to the ballot box?
