morning, we learned that the election experts at Cook Political Report
have just downgraded our race rating from “Leans Democrat” to “Toss Up.”

This news is alarming — but to be honest, it’s not all that surprising.

Poll after poll shows this race within the margin of error. My Republican
opponent and his right-wing allies have spent more than $62 million
attacking me. And Mitch McConnell’s super PAC just launched an
eight-figure ad blitz in Wisconsin to help Republicans pull ahead in the
final weeks of this election.

We are on track to be outspent by Republicans now through Election Day,
and we are running out of time to fight back.
