Hi — This morning, we learned that the election experts at Cook Political Report have just downgraded our race rating from “Leans Democrat” to “Toss Up.”

This news is alarming — but to be honest, it’s not all that surprising.

Poll after poll shows this race within the margin of error. My Republican opponent and his right-wing allies have spent more than $62 million attacking me. And Mitch McConnell’s super PAC just launched an eight-figure ad blitz in Wisconsin to help Republicans pull ahead in the final weeks of this election.
