Donald Trump has his eyes set on one of America’s founding institutions: The
United States Postal Service.

His motivations are clear: He wants to remove the possibility of vote-by-mail
to better his chances of reelection. He said it himself: If vote-by-mail were
integrated into our overall voting system, “you’d never have a Republican
elected in this country again.”

And that’s why Trump is threatening to withhold the US Postal Service’s
funding right now.

I don’t believe the livelihoods of US Postal Service workers and Americans’
ability to communicate by mail should be a bargaining chip. If you agree, sign
my petition right now to DEMAND the Trump administration fully fund the USPS!

Trump’s warpath stops the day we unseat him, and the only way to do that is to
VOTE. There’s no telling how long we will need to exercise caution due to
COVID-19, and the safety and rights of our people should be priority one.

Not only is vote-by-mail a safe and secure voting option, but data shows that
it increases voter turnout and saves states money!
