Every day, we hear from people all over the country -
including those who are living with Alzheimer's disease or another
dementia and their caregivers who suffer sadness, stress and isolation
as they watch their loved ones fight this disease. Last year alone, we
received more than 200,000 calls and online chats to our free 24/7 Helpline
(800.272.3900) from people desperate to find resources to help them
cope with this devastating disease. We provided space for hundreds of
local and virtual support groups, caregiver classes, and other care
and support resources.

This kind of care and support, along with funding for vital
research and relentless advocacy, is only possible thanks to our
supporters. Will you stand with us now while your gift can deliver 2X
the help for everyone relying on us today and 2X the hope for future
generations counting on us to defeat this disease?

A generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged to
match every gift - up to $120,000 - if we can raise that
same amount by October 8. Their gift will support Alzheimer's
research, while your donation can go 2X as far to accelerate research
and help provide care and support. This donor, whose husband was
diagnosed with the disease three years ago, spoke with us about why
they chose to give to the Alzheimer's Association.

"We support the Alzheimer's
Association because it makes a difference in so many lives. The focus
of providing care and support, research and advocacy is a winning
combination. It's important to support the Alzheimer's Association so
that families can get the support they need now and so that future
generations will hopefully not have to deal with this disease."

- Our generous match donor

We're so grateful to this dedicated supporter, and we're so
thankful for anything you can give to help before the clock runs out
on this 2X match. Please step up your support now while your first
gift can go twice as far.

global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and
