We’re surprised, but not shocked. The Koch Brothers were just exposed as
the secret funders for a 2007 report by Third Way that attempted to push
the Democratic Party back towards anti-working class trade policies, using
former Rep. Joe Crowley to do it:

Here’s why we’re not shocked — Third Way’s board is full of Wall Street
executives, corporate CEOs, and wealthy elites. It’s been clear that their
agenda has never been a more powerful Democratic Party, but one more
beholden to massive corporations.

So when Third Way attacks Justice Democrats, we don’t take it personally.
Because of course they’ll come after us — we’re working to undo all of
their shady influence and take back this democracy for the people.

There’s a reason why Third Way worked so hard to hide who funded their
study for over a decade — because they know that if their funding was
public knowledge, voters would stop listening to their corporate-backed
talking points.

That’s why Justice Democrats is different. There aren’t going to be any
shocking revelations about who funds our movement. Our donors aren’t
Walmart, Aetna, Amazon, or Lockheed Martin.

Our funders are people like Martha from Illinois who chipped in $10, or
