We’re surprised, but not shocked. The Koch Brothers were just exposed as the secret funders for a 2007 report by Third Way that attempted to push the Democratic Party back towards anti-working class trade policies, using former Rep. Joe Crowley to do it:

Here’s why we’re not shocked — Third Way’s board is full of Wall Street executives, corporate CEOs, and wealthy elites. It’s been clear that their agenda has never been a more powerful Democratic Party, but one more beholden to massive corporations.

So when Third Way attacks Justice Democrats, we don’t take it personally. Because of course they’ll come after us — we’re working to undo all of their shady influence and take back this democracy for the people.

There’s a reason why Third Way worked so hard to hide who funded their study for over a decade — because they know that if their funding was public knowledge, voters would stop listening to their corporate-backed talking points.
