Hello John,
Can you feel the energy in the air? September is coming to a close and tomorrow we will officially be in the thick of GOTV season. Organizers across the country are registering voters, prepping their phone and text lists, and crafting inspiring messages to spark action. At re:power, weâre not just thinking about Novemberâweâre gearing up for what comes next. That's why our team recently gathered in Montclair, New Jersey, for a three-day planning session to lay the groundwork for 2025-2026.
Weâre ready for what comes next and we know you will be too. Our team is committed to support and train organizers for the long run. For now, letâs take a deep breath and prepare ourselves for the weeks ahead.
With love and in solidarity,
Karundi Williams
Executive Director

[link removed] [[link removed]] On September 24th, the state of Missouri executed Marcellus âKhaliifahâ Williams, despite his innocence. State-sponsored violence is an extension of White Supremacy and has no place in a liberated democracy. Learn more about what you can do at the Death Penalty Information Center. "How has re:power's training prepared you for the upcoming election?"
[[link removed]] âRe:power's trainings ground me in the broader racial justice movement, and that is invaluable when considering demographics and data in voter universes and canvasser management. I pay closer attention to trends in demographics and always look beyond the traditional âblue vs redâ binary of our two-party system. This is especially true when thinking about the districts with rapidly growing Asian electorates in California where I primarily work in. Also, shoutout to Rose's training on spreadsheets! I love a good v-lookup formula for tidy data management and cleaning, and that is essential to speeding up import/export workflows.â
