Organizers across the country are registering voters, prepping their phone and text lists, and crafting inspiring messages to spark action. At re:power, we’re not just thinking about November—we’re gearing up for what comes next. That's why our team recently gathered in Montclair, New Jersey, for a three-day planning session to lay the groundwork for 2025-2026.

re:power is continuing to grow! Since August we’ve added four new members to our team: Robert Muñoz (he/him), Anna Gagliuffi (she/her/ella), India Waller (she/her), and Rebecca Thompson (she/her).
Rebecca is our new Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives, a new role for re:power! She will provide strategic leadership, executive project management, and develop new regional, multi-state, multi-organizational strategic and complex initiatives while also focusing on operationalization of re:power’s strategic plan and exploring opportunities for re:power by building relationships with individuals and institutions across our ecosystem. Anna, Robert, and India round out our 2025 hiring plan with their brilliance and commitment to re:power’s mission and north star! Each of them fill a critical need within our organization and bring capacity that has been missing after staff transitions. Latinas Represent Partnership |

At the start of 2024, re:power Fund partnered with Latinas Represent to launch an 8-week Latina Electeds Academy. This innovative program aimed to empower Latina elected officials across the country by enhancing their leadership skills and fostering a supportive community.

Campaign School for Issue Organizers |
In June, re:power brought organizers from across the country together in Phoenix for the first in-person Campaign School for Issue Organizing program. The 2.5-day training covered everything from the fundamentals of campaign strategy to building volunteer programs, developing a fundraising plan, targeting voters through VAN, script-building, and more. “Re:power's trainings ground me in the broader racial justice movement, and that is invaluable when considering demographics and data in voter universes and canvasser management. I pay closer attention to trends in demographics and always look beyond the traditional “blue vs red” binary of our two-party system. This is especially true when thinking about the districts with rapidly growing Asian electorates in California where I primarily work in. Also, shoutout to Rose's training on spreadsheets! I love a good v-lookup formula for tidy data management and cleaning, and that is essential to speeding up import/export workflows.”
