Hi John,

As somebody who has spent my entire life here in rural Arizona, I couldn’t be more proud of where I’m from. Our district contains some of the most striking landscapes in the country: Monument Valley, Petrified Forest National Park, pine forests and stunning rock formations that stretch towards the horizon. Our communities are full of self-sufficient, reliable folks who always are ready to help a neighbor out or extend a warm welcome to visitors. I’ve spent my whole career in service of our rural Arizona communities, and I’m ready to fight for our district in Washington. If you’re with me, can you please donate any amount towards my campaign today? [link removed]

Our district also has unique challenges that have been insufficiently addressed for far too long. Here in rural Arizona, we face a toxic legacy of abandoned radioactive waste; a legacy of decades of uranium mining over the 20th century. This hazardous waste was improperly disposed of in many cases, and our communities are facing the consequences in the form of contaminated soil and water, and above-average cancer rates.

This is just one example of our rural Arizona communities being left behind by a government in Washington that turns a blind eye to the real needs of our people. And our current representative, Eli Crane, is too busy getting ready for his next podcast appearance to focus on the critical issues facing our families and communities.

I promise to be a different kind of leader when I get to Congress, but I’m going to need your help to get there. We need to meet this final FEC quarterly fundraising goal — thanks so much for anything you can give. [link removed]

Ahéhee (Thank you),

Jonathan Nez
