LA Times: Arizona’s 1864 abortion ban is officially off the books [[link removed]]
Katie repealed the Civil War-era abortion ban in May, and earlier this month, it became official: The 1864 ban is no more. As Election Day nears, Katie made it clear that the fight to protect reproductive health care is not over — abortion access will be on the ballot, along with a slate of anti-abortion extremists we must defeat in November.

Right now, all seven justices on the Arizona Supreme Court were appointed by Republican governors. But a justice is retiring later this year, giving Katie her first appointment to our state’s highest court.

Katie launched a new initiative called Talent Ready AZ to connect Arizonans to good-paying jobs and tackle workplace shortages. She also issued an executive order requiring a portion of federal grants to be allocated to developing Arizona’s economy.
