As head of Children's Hospital Los Angeles, I hear many inspiring stories of hope and
healing. But there's one that really moved me recently.

Luca was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney cancer at 18 months old. But today Luca is
cancer-free and thriving because our doctors were able to treat him with a leading-edge
regimen of chemotherapy. Our experts are focusing on caring for kids like Luca every day
as they work tirelessly to make scientific discoveries aimed at improving and saving the
