Texas Historical Commission Updates

Register for a 2-day Cemetery Preservation Workshop in Athens, Texas!

October 2*–*3 and October 4*–*5

In conjunction with the Lana Hughes Nelson Cemetery Preservation Fund [ [link removed] ] and Texas Cemetery Restoration [ [link removed] ], the Texas Historical Commission will be hosting preservation workshops at two historic cemeteries:


* *Davis Cemetery [ [link removed] ], Wednesday & Thursday, October 2–October 3 *
* **Goshen Cemetery [ [link removed] ], Friday & Saturday, October 4*–*October 5**

Each 2-day workshop will offer the same hands-on training on headstone cleaning, headstone leveling and headstone resetting and repair. 

Registration is $30 and each workshop will be capped at 25 attendees. Register for the historic cemetery of your choice and we'll see you there!
