Register for a 2-day Cemetery Preservation Workshop in Athens, Texas!

In conjunction with the Lana Hughes Nelson Cemetery Preservation Fund and Texas Cemetery Restoration, the Texas Historical Commission will be hosting preservation workshops at two historic cemeteries:

Each 2-day workshop will offer the same hands-on training on headstone cleaning, headstone leveling and headstone resetting and repair.

Registration is $30 and each workshop will be capped at 25 attendees. Register for the historic cemetery of your choice and we'll see you there!

Davis Cemetery is located approximately 7 miles southeast of Athens. The cemetery has access to a pavilion and portable toilets.

Goshen Cemetery is located approximately 17 miles northwest of Athens. The cemetery has access to a pavilion and portable toilet.
