Two Big Events Monday, May 4!
🌹🌹🌹
FIRST, Santa Fe City Council will host a “special meeting” to vote on a master developer for the Midtown Campus. Join Chainbreaker Collective's Facebook Live Watch Party ([link removed]) on May 4th at 5PM as the City Council decides. In order to make this vote as transparent and accessible as possible, Chainbreaker and ally organizations including DSA Santa Fe, Coalition to End Homelessness, Earth Care, and the New Mexico Health Equity Partnership, among others, are using this watch party to engage as much of the community as possible during these times of social distancing.
We know that meaningful public engagement is difficult in regular times and is even more of a challenge during this pandemic. We also know how critical it is to have the people most affected by development of the property centered during this process.
The meeting will start at 5 and we expect it to last for 2 hours or more. The City has invited the public to submit questions that will be answered during the special meeting, however, we expect the questions to come during the last section (around 6:30) after the City Council vote will have already taken place. The deadline to submit questions is May 4th at 1pm. You can submit questions to the City at
