Recently, Donald Trump and J.D. Vance have shared some alarmingly racist lies about Haitian immigrants in Ohio, and this serves as a stark reminder as to why we MUST do everything we can to stop him and his xenophobic, racist cohort from taking power.

There is no evidence of the claims that Donald Trump and the MAGA right are making, but the impact is real – we have heard of multiple reports of threats of violence to Springfield, OH municipal buildings.

Not only are these racist rumors unsubstantiated, they’re outright dangerous. Schools in Springfield are closed for a second day due to bomb threats and many Haitian-Americans in the city are worried the hoax will lead to violence against their community.

Make no mistake, friend – this is exactly what Trump and his far-right racist cronies want to happen. Whether it’s rallying for mass deportation or amplifying this malicious, racist poison, they want to paint our immigrant communities as the “bad guys” and divide us as Americans.

Donald Trump has always relied on racist lies to get him to the White House – questioning Kamala Harris’s identity and promoting a vile far-right conspiracy theory are just the most recent in his playbook.
