While Americans have rejected the extremes of the MAGA movement at the polls, the Supreme Court continues to hand down extreme rulings that fundamentally change our nation, all while completely isolated from accountability from the public.

The evidence of our runaway Supreme Court is perfectly clear.

Justices have received — and failed to disclose — gifts, vacations, and other financial benefits from major political donors. Some have engaged openly in MAGA extremist politics that seek to destabilize our democracy. And some have refused to recuse themselves from cases that posed a strikingly clear conflict of interest.

For three years now, Ed has called on Congress to expand the Supreme Court and pass a binding code of ethics for Supreme Court justices, as well.

If pro-democracy candidates can win big in November, we have a shot at restoring the Court’s legitimacy. But even, then we’ll need to build the political will to get it done through a grassroots movement .
