NYT: How Roberts Shaped Trump's Supreme Court Winning Streak

Friend —

We have to talk about the elephant in the room of our democracy: Our illegitimate, extremist U.S. Supreme Court.

While Americans are rejecting the MAGA movement at the polls, the far-right majority of the Supreme Court continues to hand down extreme rulings that fundamentally change our nation, all while completely isolated from accountability from the public.

If you agree that it’s time to take back the two stolen seats and fix our broken Supreme Court, please add your name right now to our petition calling on Congress to take action to Expand the Court:

The evidence of our runaway Supreme Court is perfectly clear.

Justices have received — and failed to disclose — gifts, vacations, and other financial benefits from major political donors. Some have engaged openly in MAGA extremist politics that seek to destabilize our democracy. And some have refused to recuse themselves from cases that posed a strikingly clear conflict of interest. We need action now.

For three years now, Ed has led the charge to reform the Court , including passing legislation to expand the Supreme Court and restore balance to the nation’s highest court.

If pro-democracy candidates can win big in November, we have a shot at restoring the Court’s legitimacy. But even then, we’ll need to build the political will to get it done through a grassroots movement.

So please, add your name and help us send a message that the people of America are tired of our broken Supreme Court and support the movement to reform it for the better.

Thank you for adding your much-needed voice today.

In solidarity,

Team Markey
