After the tragic shooting in Georgia two weeks ago that claimed four lives, all J.D. Vance could say is that shootings like these are "a fact of life."
But the truth is that these shootings are preventable!
Just a year ago, the suspect was questioned by the FBI for online threats. After that confrontation, the suspect's father bought him the AR-15-style rifle that he would end up using to murder four people and wound nine others.
With a more thorough investigation and commonsense gun laws, this could have been avoided entirely.
And make no mistake: If we don't act now, it will inevitably happen again.
