Moments ago, Senate Republicans blocked a bill to protect in vitro
fertilization (IVF). The vote was 51 to 44, with every Republican senator
voting NO except two. The bill needed 60 votes to pass.
This comes just a week after Donald Trump claimed during the presidential
debate that he would protect IVF. As Elizabeth Warren discussed with Jen
Psaki last night on MSNBC, his support doesn't seem to include calling
Republican senators to get their votes for IVF.

Today's vote is a stark warning of what's to come if Republicans take
control of the Senate in November.
From Lindsey Graham to Tim Scott, Republican senators are on record
supporting a nationwide abortion ban—even in blue states like New York and
California. This isn't just about one bill; it's about the future of
   reproductive rights in America.
In this election, Senators Sherrod Brown (OH), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Bob
Casey, (PA), and Jon Tester (MT) are top Republican targets because they
consistently challenge corporate power on behalf of working families and
fight back against right-wing extremism. They need our help.
Ruben Gallego in Arizona is running to prevent right-wing extremist Kari
Lake from flipping retiring Kyrsten Sinema's seat.
To expand our majority and potentially have a cushion, we have two chances
to win back unexpected states Missouri (Lucas Kunce) and North Dakota
(Katrina Christiansen). Democrats held both of these seats until recently.
Because many of these races are in presidential battleground states, by
supporting these candidates, your donation not only defends reproductive
rights – it also helps Get Out The Vote to defeat Donald Trump.
