John–following up on the email from my team last week.

We’ve just learned that our competitor has received a major fundraising boost. An independent expenditure – a campaign committee that can accept donations of any size – has been formed specifically to support the opposing campaign and target us with attack ads. 

I’m going to be honest: learning this so close to the election concerns us. With just 48 days to go (less than a month until ballots arrive in the mail!), we can’t lose ground.
