Dear Friend,
When I first ran to serve as Colorado’s Attorney General, I said I would visit all 64 counties of our state.
Over the last seven years, I have enjoyed and benefited from this tradition. I’ve visited every county — most multiple times. And I have already visited all 64 counties again during my second term as AG.
It’s important to me to show up. I learn a lot and want the people of Colorado to know I’m committed to serving them. Like when residents in Pagosa Springs [[link removed]] lost access to propane to warm their homes in the winter - they knew my office would be there for them, ready to take action.

On every visit, I meet community leaders. We exchange perspectives and ideas. I listen, and always learn something.
For example, my visits with school leaders across the state – recently in Durango [[link removed]] – helped me understand how to better respond to the teen mental health crisis, like supporting a teen peer counseling initiative.
Our engagement and visits around Colorado honor my belief and commitment - our democracy is a team sport.
