Here's what we're up against: Under cover of the pandemic, the Trump administration has rolled back EPA safety measures regarding the release of mercury and other toxic pollutants into the air. These are pollutants that have already been linked to higher COVID-19 death rates all over the country. Amid a global pandemic, where millions of Americans are dying from a virus that directly targets the respiratory system, the Trump administration is actively making it harder for people to breathe.
