The People's Action Party has made education a priority from the start. From kampong classes to sparkling kindergarten centres, the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) has always been there for Singaporeans.

During Singapore's challenging fyears after independence, our PAP kindergartens became targets of political violence. In December 1967, Barisan Socialis supporters marched to the MacPherson kindergarten and threw black oil and rotten eggs at the building while a class was in session.
