Applications for New Leaders Council’s 2021 Institute are now open. You can be one of the first to apply at www.newleaderscouncil.org/apply

New Leaders Council is where you can find your people and find your purpose. We are community of changemakers who are doing the work together to make a real and lasting difference.

"The NLC fellowship is equipping an entire generation of young progressive leaders with the tools and resources to make change in their communities and create a more equitable future for all," said Colleen Lowry, Founding Director of NLC Columbus and Director, Foundation Board & Volunteer Experience, The Ohio State University.

Through NLC’s 6-month fellowship, you can gain the skills and build a cross-sector network and community to support your efforts in starting a nonprofit, launching a business, running for office, activating for a cause you are passion about, and so much more.

The first step in joining the NLC community is starting your application. [[link removed]] Our next class of progressive leaders will join nearly 9,000 alumni from 50 chapters, continuing to build a community of the most impressive young leaders the progressive movement has ever seen.

"New Leaders Council served as a catalyst in solidifying my civic engagement by demonstrating the interconnectedness of all Progressive movements," said Damian J. Denson, PhD, MPH, a 2016 NLC Atlanta Fellow, current NLC Atlanta Co-Director, and Behavioral Scientist, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
