Applications for the 2021 NLC Fellowship are now open. Apply today!

Friend --

Applications for New Leaders Council’s 2021 Institute are now open. You can be one of the first to apply.

New Leaders Council is where you can find your people and find your purpose. We are community of changemakers who are doing the work together to make a real and lasting difference.

"The NLC fellowship is equipping an entire generation of young progressive leaders with the tools and resources to make change in their communities and create a more equitable future for all," said Colleen Lowry, Founding Director of NLC Columbus and the Director, Foundation Board & Volunteer Experience at The Ohio State University.

Through NLC’s 6-month fellowship, you can gain the skills and build a cross-sector network and community to support your efforts in starting a nonprofit, launching a business, running for office, activating for a cause you are passion about, and so much more.

The first step in joining the NLC community is starting your application. Our next class of progressive leaders will join nearly 9,000 alumni from 50 chapters, continuing to build a community of the most impressive young leaders the progressive movement has ever seen.

"New Leaders Council served as a catalyst in solidifying my civic engagement by demonstrating the interconnectedness of all Progressive movements," said Damian J. Denson, PhD, MPH, a 2016 NLC Atlanta Fellow, the NLC Atlanta Co-Director, and Behavioral Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
