#TeamLizzie has been out and about across the district again this week. Our office is abuzz, and we were excited to kick off our fall postcard-writing campaign and our block walks of volunteers talking with voters about the election that’s just eight weeks away.

More endorsements! Lizzie earned the endorsements of so many organizations and people we trust during the primary, and we are so proud to share that two more organizations have endorsed Lizzie this week: The Alliance for Retired Americans and the Brady PAC!

The Alliance for Retired Americans represents over 4.4 million retirees and older Americans, including over 157,000 Texans. This endorsement recognizes Lizzie’s commitment to ensuring that all Americans can retire securely and confidently, including her efforts to protect and strengthen Medicare and Social Security and lower prescription costs for seniors.
Lizzie’s endorsement from the Brady PAC is a testament to her unwavering commitment to preventing gun violence in our communities. During her time in Congress, Lizzie has demonstrated strong leadership and dedication in championing common sense gun safety measures—including helping pass the first new gun-safety law in decades—that protect our communities and save lives.
As always, there are plenty of ways to get involved this week:
1. Join us for a phone bank this Wednesday, September 11 [[link removed]] , as we call our neighbors and help them make plans to vote.

2. Sign up for our postcard-writing party this Thursday, September 12! [[link removed]] Join for coffee and conversation while writing postcards during the shift from 10 a.m. to noon or BYOB in the early evening during the shift from 6 to 8 p.m.

3. And if you want to talk to our neighbors about voting face to face, join us for a block walk this Saturday, September 14. [[link removed]]

Action Item You Can Do Right Now:
As you may have seen, our state removed over 1 million Texans from our voter rolls in a purge stemming from the Texas Legislature’s sweeping package of voting restrictions, disproportionately impacting voters of color and voters with disabilities. We’ve already heard from people who know others who have voted before but have been purged from the voter rolls.
It’s even more critical than usual that everyone checks to ensure their registrations are active and up-to-date before the deadline on October 7. You can check your status here, [[link removed]] and please share this with your friends and family and encourage them to do the same.
Thanks for being a part of the team,
Team Lizzie
