As you may have seen, our state removed over 1 million Texans from our voter rolls in a purge stemming from the Texas Legislature’s sweeping package of voting restrictions, disproportionately impacting voters of color and voters with disabilities. We’ve already heard from people who know others who have voted before but have been purged from the voter rolls.
It’s even more critical than usual that everyone checks to ensure their registrations are active and up-to-date before the deadline on October 7. You can check your status here, and please share this with your friends and family and encourage them to do the same.
