Hi John,

The first presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is
just around the corner and, to date, neither have made clear commitments
about fixing the legal forms of corruption in our government.

You know, like how:

* [ [link removed] ]SuperPACs use their massive cash reserves to buy elections and
influence legislation
* [ [link removed] ]Politicians redraw districts to guarantee their own victories
* [ [link removed] ]Voters are forced to choose between the lesser of two evils, thanks
to our winner-take-all, first-past-the-post system
* [ [link removed] ]Corporate interests fund political campaigns and then reap the
benefits of tax breaks and loopholes
* [ [link removed] ]Citizens United allows unlimited dark money to pour into campaigns

We deserve answers. Let's demand the debate moderators ask the
presidential candidates one simple question: "As president, what specific
steps would you take to fix our corrupt political system?"
