LGBTQ+ Stories You Should Know About
Major Wins in Oklahoma, Massachusetts and Washington!
In results certified Wednesday, LGBTQ+ Victory Fund candidate Dave Upthegrove officially advanced from the August 6 primary election [[link removed]] for Public Lands Commissioner in Washington state [[link removed]] ! With a general election victory in November, Dave will become the first out LGBTQ+ statewide executive official in Washington state history [[link removed]] !
We’re thrilled to announce that incumbent candidate Laura Bellis crushed her reelection to the Tulsa City Council in Oklahoma [[link removed]] ! Laura won her race with over 76% of the vote [[link removed]] .
In the Massachusetts primaries, Natalie Higgins [[link removed]] , John Moran [[link removed]] , Adam Scanlon [[link removed]] , and Samantha Montaño [[link removed]] were all unopposed for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, while Julian Cyr [[link removed]] and Will Brownsberger [[link removed]] were also unopposed in the Massachusetts State Senate.
Meanwhile, both incumbent candidate Jack Patrick Lewis [[link removed]] and Thomas Moakley [[link removed]] won their competitive primaries for the State House!
