NEW YORK POST: GOP Reps. Young Kim and Michelle Steel Protecting Key GOP Seats
in Highly Competitive SoCal Districts
This week, the New York Post shed light on two of E-PAC’s Republican
Representatives running for re-election in critical House seats – Rep. Young
Kim and Rep. Michelle Steel!
Rep. Steel (CA-45) stated –
“I still see the hope, and we have a lot of immigrants coming in, especially
Asian American immigrants in my district. We have almost 37% Asian American
first generations, and they are here and they work really hard and they can see
it. Something has to be changed. And it is eventually it is getting changed.”
Rep. Young Kim (CA-40) stated –
“My family & I came here as immigrants, & achieved the American dream. But the
California today is not the same as the one we came to.
I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying in the fight to give future generations
opportunity & keep the American dream alive.”

GOP Women Rake in Key Endorsements
Republican women continue to gain bipartisan support from voters, elected
officials, and trade groups. This week, several House members announced key
endorsements for their re-election campaigns.
On Tuesday, 81 elected officials from Washington County, NY, endorsed
Chairwoman Elise Stefanik in her re-election campaign. This is the highest
number of endorsements the Congresswoman has ever received from local elected
officials in Washington County, and included endorsements from Republican,
Democrat, and Independent officials across the county! She earned an additional
111 endorsements from elected officials in St. Lawrence County.
Chairwoman Stefanik (NY-21) stated –
“I’m grateful to earn the support and endorsement of these hardworking local
elected officials and community leaders of Washington County. This is the
highest number of local elected officials in Washington County to ever endorse
me, and I am grateful for their support. It is an honor to continue to deliver
results to Washington County by securing $2 million for a sanitary sewer
improvement project in the Village of Whitehall, by passing the Battlefield
Protection Program Enhancement Act to preserve Fort Ann, and by leading the
charge against Kathy Hochul’s catastrophic plan to close the Great Meadow
Correctional Facility. I will continue to represent and fight for Washington
County at the highest levels in our nation’s Capitol.”

On Tuesday, Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) highlighted her endorsement from
the Air Line Pilots Association.
Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) stated –
“Thank you Air Line Pilots Association for your support! In Congress, we
passed a bipartisan FAA reauthorization bill. I will always stand up for our
pilots and support your fight to advance aviation safety and representation.”

Just after Labor Day, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) announced her latest
endorsement from the Laborers’ International Union.
Rep. Malliotakis stated –
“Fresh off Labor Day, I’m proud to announce that I’ve received the endorsement
from the Laborers’ International Union! These are the men & women who build our
roads, highways, bridges & tunnels that let America move as well as pipelines,
schools, stadiums & hospitals. I appreciate their support & our shared
commitment to infrastructure investment!”

On Wednesday, Rep. Erin Houchin (IN-09) announced she received the
endorsement of the Indiana Farm Bureau.
Rep. Houchin stated –
“Proud to stand with the Indiana Farm Bureau, both here at home and in
Washington, D.C. We'll continue to advocate for our farmers and their
priorities, working to ensure that our state and nation continue to lead in the
agriculture industry.”
