This week, several House members announced key endorsements for their re-election campaigns. | On Tuesday, 81 elected officials from Washington County, NY, endorsed Chairwoman Elise Stefanik in her re-election campaign. This is the highest number of endorsements the Congresswoman has ever received from local elected officials in Washington County, and included endorsements from Republican, Democrat, and Independent officials across the county! She earned an additional 111 endorsements from elected officials in St. Lawrence County. | Chairwoman Stefanik (NY-21) stated – | “I’m grateful to earn the support and endorsement of these hardworking local elected officials and community leaders of Washington County. This is the highest number of local elected officials in Washington County to ever endorse me, and I am grateful for their support. It is an honor to continue to deliver results to Washington County by securing $2 million for a sanitary sewer improvement project in the Village of Whitehall, by passing the Battlefield Protection Program Enhancement Act to preserve Fort Ann, and by leading the charge against Kathy Hochul’s catastrophic plan to close the Great Meadow Correctional Facility.
