Last week, Officer Darron Burks of the Dallas Police Department was ambushed and brutally murdered while on patrol in South Oak Cliff. Officer Burks, a former school teacher, was in his rookie year serving on the police force.??

Darron Burks was murdered in City Councilwoman Carolyn King Arnold's District 4. Councilwoman Arnold claims that she is supportive of DPD and grieving with the community. Unfortunately, these events have only further exposed her hypocrisy.
