DPD needs to move from 3,000 to 4,000 police officers ASAP.
Crime gets worse; Dallas City Council members do nothing.
Safe streets are a civil right.

Councilwoman Arnold Ignores Pleas to Fund DPD
|
|
|
|
 |
Last week, Officer Darron Burks of the Dallas Police Department was ambushed and brutally murdered while on patrol in South Oak Cliff. Officer Burks, a former school teacher, was in his rookie year serving on the police force.
Darron Burks was murdered in City Councilwoman Carolyn King Arnold’s District 4. Councilwoman Arnold claims that she is supportive of DPD and grieving with the community. Unfortunately, these events have only further exposed her hypocrisy. Councilwoman Arnold cannot pretend to back the blue when she has subverted efforts to keep DPD fully funded at every step.
|
|
Since the BLM craze of 2020, Councilwoman Arnold and other Woke council members' attempts to defund our police have ended in vain except for their latest ongoing effort: incrementally cutting DPD
funding and spreading staff so thin that officers are forced to patrol dangerous hotspots of Dallas solo.
DPD is facing a staffing shortage that is nearing a deficit of 1,000 officers. This is unacceptable. One of the most basic responsibilities of our council is to ensure that we have safe streets, yet they sabotage our city’s public safety budget!
Click the button below to find out who your council member is and let them know that they must fully fund DPD before more senseless violence occurs!

Dallas Infiltrated by Venezualan Gang of Illegal Immigrants
The Biden/Harris regime and its pro-crime, open borders policy has been handing city after city over to the tyranny of crime. Our situation in Dallas is dire, as a Venezuelan Gang has recently overrun some apartments in North Dallas. This situation must be a top priority until it has been resolved. Otherwise, we will face a situation similar to Aurora, Colorado.

Dallas Embarrasses Itself Again With Another Property Slip-up
A City-owned property has suffered from a water leak, and countless city bureaucrats have punted the ball to avoid responsibility. If Dallas cannot take care of its own business, why should we trust them with anything? Their failure to protect City property from squatters is becoming a theme, and the stories won’t stop.

Job Posting for Dallas City Manager Shows Houston Skyline
Epic fail: the consulting company Baker Tilly, paid to aid Dallas in its search for a new City Manager, used the Houston Skyline in the brochure advertising for Dallas. If this snafu is any indication of the incompetence of their team and how more important aspects of the search might be going… Houston, we have a problem.

Tracking Illegal Camps:
|
|
|
|
Today, Executive Director Joseph Porter went live to report on the results of the water testing that KDS ran on Joe's Creek. There are several encampments along the creek and many residents have spotted the local vagrants using the
water for various means. There were unsafe amounts of E. coli and fecal matter found in the creek.

District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez
"Underpass Slums Camp"
This camp in Omar Narzaez’s District 6 has been dubbed “Underpass Slums Camp.” Alongside Stemmons Road, countless vagrant camps culminate in the slums pictured here. They are allowed to steal this land without consequences, which makes the surrounding area incredibly dangerous. What is the Office of Homeless Solutions even doing about this spot?

District 2 Councilman Jesse Moreno
"Tent Wreckage Camp"
This camp in Jesse Moreno’s District 2 has earned the title “Tent Wreckage Camp.” After a storm, destroyed homeless tents and garbage everywhere are common sites. This wreckage was seen just a block away from the Dallas City Hall. Is our city leadership proud that visitors to Dallas will continue to be greeted by these piles of rubble and garbage? This is a complete disgrace!

District 11 Councilwoman Jaynie Schultz
"Rainy Waste Camp"
We named this camp in Jaynie Schultz’s District 11 “Rainy Waste Camp.” These vagrants are just a fraction of the hundreds that have moved into these intersections that run along 635. They are living in a precarious position and they are only making the surrounding area more dangerous. Jaynie Schultz is allowing her district to fall into absolute ruin!

Mission Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
